we’re maria and niko, a photography duo, and it’s so nice to meet you!

Our love story started in high school, when I (Maria) saw Niko and immediately became interested in getting to know this seemingly cool and mysterious kid. Through mutual friends, I finally introduced myself and the start of a fun friendship began.

Even though all our classes were different, we would meet at the library to do homework together. These were never productive - we spent most of the time making Spotify playlists for each other or laughing at silly things. I realized that this ‘cool’ and ‘mysterious’ kid was just as goofy as me. After spending more and more time together, we developed feelings for each other and the rest, as they say, is history.

We now live together in Tacoma, WA and feel so lucky that we get to work together to capture the love stories of some amazing people!

I found my passion for photography while traveling, but I’m here because I LOVE love. You can count on me to get those good angles and shower you with compliments. Outside of photography, I’ll likely be playing pickleball, rollerskating, or walking my dog, Moose.

My experience as a videographer perfectly translates to photography. I’m all about getting that perfect natural lighting and making shots feel like a movie. I love skateboarding, my 1995 Miata, and capturing photos on film.
